I wanted one but you can't config the ATI graphics with the 450 nit screen so I passed on it and ordered the Sony FW. I bought my mom the previous A6030 model last year and it's very nice -- Fujitsu screens are among the best you can get. I think one weakness of the A series has been poor audio quality from the speakers so keep that in mind.

I agree...not being able to configure the ATI graphics with the better screen is a letdown.

But even the Sony FW has a similar issue - you can't get the better Xbrite-HiColor screen with the ATI HD 3470 graphics card (only the Xbrite-ECO).

I'm waiting for A6210 reviews to appear...so that I can decide between one of them :)

I was able to get both the HD 3470 and Xbrite-HiColor through Sonystyle (configure to order). I'm in the U.S., maybe it varies by country.

does it really matter if the screen and gpu cant be combined the way you want?? It's a great machine....I guess if all your gonna do is game on it, and it's that important......

Not being able to get a dedicated card with the superior screen is what has kept me from placing an order. That and having to deal with crappy intel wireless instead of the previous atheros offered.. though that can be fixed.

I did send an inquiry on that screen and gpu issue to Fujitsu support...but haven't received any response from them (not too surprising??).

I can live without the dedicated gpu, as I won't be doing any gaming on it. But the superior screen is definitely a must.
I believe the X4500 can play Blu-ray and HD videos well enough.

The X3100 couldn't hold profiles so I'd have to calibrate the damn screen every single time I load the computer.. I dunno about the X4500 but the rule has always been get a dedicated card to hold profiles.
