I have tested this on my N6010, and it works great.
To use the 4 buttons (next to the power button), install this small program written by Daniel_F. It also works for some other Fujitsu Models.

Even winamp is an improvement over just control of program "CD player"... Hell, I haven't used the "CD player" program in over 5 years. Just sad that Fujitsu didn't enable better support for the Player controls as they did (a little bit) for the Application Panel controls.

So now it controls winamp? That's all? I would like a way to map these buttons to some applications!

I use a mediaplay mouse which has all the controls I might need on it. That's why I am looking for something to make use of these buttons!

I remapped the email button to open up "my documents" directory as I stopped using pop/smtp email years ago. Webmail won me over with it's ability for me to have all my email and address book from any computer connected to the 'net.

I recently upgraded to WinDVD Player 6, Platinum. How do I program the four application buttons to work with this program?

After using it for two days the program seems to run a little smoother. I used it in the classroom yesterday and found the program to be pretty intuitive. It has a feature called Quick Clips that captures scenes from movies. I haven't used it yet, but if it functions as stated it will be a big help to me in the classroom. Hope this helps a little.
