Are there any reviews/thoughts on the new Lifebook S761?

So, I'm researching a new laptop for myself, and one of the manufacturers who have a 13" lineup is Fujitsu. The problem is, I've only seen 1 Fujitsu product in person before, and that was a smaller tablet that I repaired for someone a long time ago. I have to say, the options available on the CTO version is fairly impressive, and I'm intrigued because it offers:

    • i7-2620M
    • GeForceĀ® GT 520M

What's most important to me though is screen quality, and I can't seem to find much information in this regard. I really want my next laptop to have a nice screen - not necessarily crazy HD resolution, but really bright, good colors, and good viewing angles. I was spoiled by my Vaio SR series :)

Is this model just too new, or does nobody really care about Fujitsu anymore? Do they usually use nice screens and have good build quality?

    Thanks!

I bought a S760 last year and returned it after used it for a week.
The screen quality was the reason I returned it. The saturation and viewing angle were poor. I came from a T400 non-LED screen so my standard was pretty low.
On the up side the laptop did have a solid construction and professional feel to it. Some people refer Lifebook line as "Japan's Thinkpad".

Hmmm... that's annoying. I don't suppose they could have vastly improved in the latest version? I'm a little concerned at how I don't ever hear about Fujitsu around the web much anymore. That's ok though, they were kind of expensive.

Compare to Lenovo's offer in the US I just don't see the point to buy a Fujitsu.
Fujitsu's driver is not updated periodically and their machine do not stand out in terms of build quality or durability.

These models come with different configurations. Some are offered with integrated graphics only and some can be configured with dedicated graphics. I think that in Japan this model is a SH76/D.
This is a review of the SH76/D of a model with i think integrated graphics.
