I have a Fujitsu E752 and I wanted to change out the thermal paste since it was old and dry.
I remove the plastics and bam! I bent up the heatsink with the motherboard still attached. I put everything back together and it seems to be fine.
Did I screw up anything by doing so?

If the temperatures are no worse than previously under full CPU (+ DGPU if included) load then there's no damage. I think these components (do you mean the heat pipe) can tolerate some bending.

Yes I am referring to the heat pipe. It still works great under load. No overheat or anything bad. Just panicked because I never done such thing before.
Thank you.
Bent the heatsink while on the motherboard!
