The Fujitsu S7010D comes with built-in Atheros Super AG. I was just wondering if anyone who has this option in their LifeBook could let me know which router they found to be the best.

From what I've read, it seems that the only companies who make compatible routers for the Atheros Super AG are Netgear and D-Link. The only router I've been able to find that explicitly indicates Atheros Super AG support is the Netgear WGU624. There is also the D-Link DI-784, which appears to support Super AG, but it isn't clearly stated on the webpage. Does anyone have either of these routers?

Another thing I was wondering about is whether I can pair up the Atheros Super AG that comes in the LifeBook with a Super G router. Are Super AG and Super G totally compatible like this?

Please help me out; I'm pretty lost here. This is my first notebook purchase, and Wi-Fi purchase, so bear with me.

Im no router expert but I can tell you that I have the N6010 with the Atheros Super AG and a D-Link DGL-4300 gaming router and I have absolutely no problems with connections and Im running in super G mode at 108 Mbps. The router is very expensive but It works great and ten times better than the other 3 D-Link routers I have bought in the past. The router is 802.11b/g. The Atheros card has settings depending on what modes you would like to run in.

I use Netgear products, I think all their b/g routers support Super G.

In this case, if my choice is explicit or vague compatibility promise, I would choose the explicit (WGU624).

I am using a motorola WR850G wireless router with newest flash update, works very well, using WPA-PSK with AES, no problems and using a Atheros Super AG.

I don't do super AG, but I do have a Netgear wireless router that works well for me.
