I just managed to spill a bit of Pepsi foam on the top of my P7010D keyboard. I turned the laptop upside down as soon as this happened, turned it off, and then wiped as much liquid off it as I could. Then let the laptop dry.

Now, a day later, the backspace key feels really sticky. I have no reservation about opening up the computer, as I've already done this to install a Hitachi 7K60 drive. However, could anyone offer any tips regarding keyboard cleaning for this particular laptop?

You need to pluck the key and clean it, probably no need to take the entire keyboard off. Just pop it off and back on, it shouldn't be any trouble.

Plucking the keys like on my desktop keyboard will be easy. Didn't know I could do that. Thank you.
