My Fujitsu Lifebook C6631 has died after 2 years of daily use.

I was using it on a 35degree (celsius) day (indoors but still at least 35 degrees) and it started hanging. First the keys stayed down. Then the touch pad left mouse was always down (not physically) so I had to do a total power-off to turn it off. Now it will go to the basic Fujitsu load screen but not past it. It usually hangs and wont let me into the BIOS. If I hold down random keys on the keyboard it sometimes loads but othertimes it will hang in the boot process. When I have got it into Win XP home, the Keyboard then did not function (external keyboard was OK except for SHIFT always being down) and the touch-pad does not work.

Anyone had these symptoms? Any ideas? I have swapped hard drives but still no difference. I have tried booting with external USB mouse and keyboard but still no luck. Did my much loved Lifebook get heat-stroke? I am at a loss as to what I should do. I think its just out of warranty which really sucks. I was worried about purchasing a notebook because of issues with them cooking themselves and now look whats happened! Fujitsus support is so hopeless Im not even going to bother calling them.

I guess im in the market for a new notebook either an IBM or another Fujitsu (E8010)...

Any ideas what I should do to get my 6631 to fire back into life??

PS: I am on my partners Lifebook 6631 until I work out what is up with mine. I hope hers does not get heat-stroke!

    Thanks in advance!
