Because there is nothing else out there currently (please correct me if I am wrong) I am looking to buy the Lifebook T902 Fujitsu America | Tablet PCs | Notebooks
I am an Engineer who needs to use 3D CAD Solid Works 3D CAD and Inventor while taking notes in meetings.
My question is can I get any feedback on how it handles on small assemblies with a 4th Gen i7 processor? Is a dedicated GPU an option?
What happened where now you can only max out @ 8 GB RAM where it used to be 16 GB (please see link).
The 3D CAD platforms require at least 12 GB.
Any feedback on this is appreciated.
I started out asking if there was anything out there in the main forum that even comes close and its not looking good.
Thanks for reading

The T902 has been replaced by the T904. I would not think that either are good for engineering....plus they are behind on a few other specs. Max 8Gb, and max 802.11N, neither of which are current.
Look at gaming notebooks, and convertables. You should be able to find ones with nVidia graphics, 16Gb, 802.11AC, and 13" or 14" screens. -

@OP. Fujitsu, like any other Japanese brand, is never about raw power. Want raw power? That's what European cars are for. People buy Japanese cars for other criteria.
As such, Fujitsu would be a terrible choice for "power users". The reason I fell in love with Fujitsu is b/c of craftsmanship (at least where the Japanese-made parts are concerned) and user-friendliness... -
Indeed. For me, Fujitsu has stood for durable, reliable, and rugged under heavy use. I like their build quality. And love their dependable nature. I always know I can boot up my work LifeBook and it will function stably and reliably. It's not the fastest, but it is always there. Not the fastest, but earns it's keep.
