This question was already asked before but there was no certain answer. The Fujitsu Lifebook C2220 has a 768 MB ram limit according to Fujitsu (its a old laptop) but there was some talk about possibly upgrading to 1.25 GB, using a 1GB stick plus the on board memory of 256MB. Can anyone confirm this? I would really like to have as much Ram as possible. Thanks in advance.

Could you download and run CPU-Z and post screenshots of all the information in there?

If no one has actually tried this you can give it a go yourself. Despite what the chipset might support Fujitsu could have locked this laptop to max 768mb ram.
Ram is not that expensive to buy and it can be bought pretty cheaply of ebay.

There is always a possible small risk though in doing these things.
