    Welcome to NBR, Awesoft.

If you are using Windows Vista 64-bit, then you shouldn't need to install any SATA drivers, because the drivers should already be there. Does the BIOS of the notebook detect the hard disk at all?

The HD is detected by the BIOS, but not detected from Vista 64 DVD once installation has started. (the screen of HD's is blank)
    Where is the problem?

vista doesnt have the drivers needed to detect your hard drive...what you may have to do is get a floppy disc with your drivers (should be VIARAID or something like that) or you'll have to create your own vista cd slipstreamed with your harddrive drivers...

you might wanna check out www.vlite.net

its the same principle as nlite...but for vista and i think its in the beta stages but close to producing a version of it there is driver integration on in it..so you should be able to integrate your drivers and create your own vista cd to make it work..

Where can I find the Vista (64bit) drivers for the Amilo 1546 hard disk?
