Hi everyone. I just got my Fujitsu S6210, and to test out the Superdrive, I bought DVD+ and DVD- media. What's weird is that I was always successful in burning DVD- movies, but never DVD+... I've exchanged this already, but it's still the same result. Btw, I'm using Nero for this. Does anyone have a similar problem? If not, what can I do about this?

no clue, never use DVD+R, becasue it's less compatible w/ DVD player, PS2, XBOX. Plus I still have about 100 disc of DVD-R left at home.

Yeah, I figure DVD- is more compatible, but I figure since it's a Superdrive, it should be able to burn both... but oh well. I called Fujitsu about this, and they said this is the first time they've heard about this... kinda funny since I've tried 2 Fujitsu S6210 laptops for DVD+ and neither one worked. *sigh* Thanks tho.

From what I understand, WinXP have built-in capability for burning CD, something similar to the way EZ-CD Creator works. And usually, when you have programs like Nero, they recommend you to turn the cd burning service off. I'm not sure if this is the case, but you might want to check it out.
