    Hi guys,

it seems like there are quite a few Canadian on the board. I am from Vancouver, and im looking to order from P1 soon. Can anyone who ordered from them let me know how the whole process works? What kind of tax do we have to pay when the notebook is shipped from the states? I'm kinda worried because If there is anything wrong with the notebook, it will be costly to ship the unit back to them and then back. Also, P1 offers free shipping in the states, so isn't it more logical to pay only for the difference in shipping instead of the full amount?

    THanks for your help

I'd drop P1 a note. I am sure they would spell it all out for you. Their customer service is first class. Good Luck.

Yah, there's plenty of Canadians here. It might be logical to just pay for the shipping difference, but then shipping internationally and the paperwork involved makes it a real chore. We sent a Toshiba notebook to somebody in Canada to review and did the shipping -- it was the first and last time. Took forever and Canadian customs decided to hold onto it, just because. I'm sure those that are experienced have better luck, but I wouldn't ever say it's going to be easy enough to justify giving any shipping discounts :-/

P1 is great though, if there's a good way to do it they'll know and help you out with it.
