Looking at that the screen is cracked and you will need a replacement screen. May be look on ebay to try and keep your costs down for a replacement.

And if you can't find one, then make one of your own and upload it. But don't attempt this unless you're confident with your ability to complete the task. It's not as simple as plug and play.

I've found a couple replacement screens for sale online, but the best deal I could find was for no less than $150. That seems reasonable, but there are used laptops like mine going for $500; it would be more cost effective to just buy a complete used Fujitsu laptop and part it out, (minus the screen) or something, huh?

Screens in used laptops are, well...used and who knows in what condition. I'd buy just a replacement screen, swap the cracked one out and be done with it.

You can replace the screen with a new one. Get it from ebay or newegg. You can then install it for yourself by watching youtube as your guide or have someone do it fo you.

Be careful when you take your laptop apart! The connections to the end of the wires are very tiny and rips easily off the melted tabs. So when disconnecting the end tips from the board, do NOT pull from the wire. Carefully remove the tips using a small enough tool. Label which screws/connections go where. Take your time or else the repair could cost as much as a new laptop.
