    I have a compaq presario 2100 at this time and I am ready to upgrade.
    I have been comparing for the last month in the magazines; and I my last choices are between the HP Compaq Notebook nc8230 and the Fujitsu S7010D. I am leaning towards the S7010 since I love the design and the weight....Since I never seen the fujitsu and nobody carries it at CompUSA nor the stores in the area...I would appreciate if anybody can steer me towards a GOOD decision.

    I am waiting for the new S7020 to be released (any day now...).The s7010 was very impressive in person- the screen was sharp and clear, and the weight is great for a 14.1" machine- over a pound lighter than the IBM T43's; the keyboard is a little better on the IBM, but the Fujitsu machine seems solid, and got good reviews everywhere. If you go to the Fujitsu site you can search if any stores carry it in the area.

    The S7020 is out now on P1, it's an excellent choice and much better qaulity than the HP.
