So the aerthos supports a and the intel doesnt? Whish is the better performing network car?
-
There actually is a big difference, the Atheros card supports A which has been noted, but it also supports super G at 108 Mbps.

Why would anyone buy the 7010 over the 7010D? They are the same price but the D has the better network card. I don't get it.
-
Because the D also doesn't get teh Centrino marketing garbage from Intel. Now you can tell the difference between a Fujitsu buyer and a savvu Fujitsu buyer, LOL.

Ok call me ignorant but what do you mean? Are you saying that they both don't have Centrino. Don't both laptops have Centrino? I know. I'm a PC idiot...Last edited by a moderator: May 8, 2015 -
LOL, right, Centrino is just a marketing term. As for stickers, they should all be removed right away anyway.

Centrino is the market name for the Pentium M chip + Intel's wireless card.
If it's only the Pentium M chip with Atheros card, it's only called a Pentium M.
I like the Pentium M sticker over the Centrino one. I think the Pink on the sticker causes interference for the wireless connection[8D]
Difference Betweein P7010 and P7010D???
