I was wondering what the difference exactly is between both. Some seem to have the same specs overall, though the price of the lifebooks is quite higher.
Anyone who has good/bad experience with the Amilo series of Fujitsu?

They're just sold in different parts of the world. In the US we don't get Amilio, just the Lifebooks.

I believe a large percentage, if not all, of the Amilo notebooks are Uniwill notebooks.

    Does that mean less quality?

I was going to ask the same question. I'm located in Poland and the amilo line is definitely popular here. Reading through all the posts, I've become quite convinced that i want a lifebook because so many of you praise them for good build quality, etc. But here finding a lifebook is definitely more difficult than finding amilo. The obvious reason for it is the price, e.g. Amilo L 7300 costs around 800$. So I'm wondering if the amilos are built with cheaper components? Kind of low-budget line?

The other day I got the chance to see a few amilo models (not sure what models they were) and I felt that the lifebooks we have back in the US are of better build quality in general. But I didn't inspect the amilos that closely. + the store had them switched off, so there was no way to check the screen :(
