    Hi everyone!
Since the 1st use of the laptop (July2007), sometimes, once a week nearly, when working normally,(no games) even with windows explorer!, suddenly the screen became unstable, strongly vibrating and uncontrollable I can just see the last screen vibrating strongly (horizontally) where no thing is clear
The only way I found to put off the computer was by pushing the power button (because the Start button could not be localised)
    Computer: Amilo Pro V3205
    Processor:Intel core 2 Duo
    Clock:2.0Ghz, T7200
    RAM: 1GB
Graphic: Intel Mobile 945GM Express Chipset Family
    Screen 12"
OS: Win xp SP2, (same problem when tryingVISTA Pro!)

To try solving the problem I did the following updates –with no results:
    1) Bios version :to the version 1.2 (from Fujitsu-Siemens site)
    2) Graphic drivers:to the latest version -from Intel site
    3) Changing "Hardware acceleration" to some values

Later, (after updating the graphic drivers to the latest version?) WHEN WORKING ON BATTERY sometimes the screen goes totally off
    Any help, please.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    No replies, strange behavior indeed:
Today, trying to see which is the responsible:LCD screen or graphic card, I did the following:
Working on battery, when the screen sudenly became off, I connected an external CRT monitor and I used the keyboard to jump to LCD, CRT, LCD&CRT display (using keys Fn & F3):
    1) External CRT monitor connected:
    - CRT: No display
    - CRT & LCD No display
    - LCD display OK !!
    2) Disconnecting the CRT monitor:
    - LCD: No display !!
    3) Restarting the computer:
    - Display in both LCD & external monitor is OK

So, I deduced that the graphic card is th responsible. But I wonder what could be the problem? (software or hardware):
    - Could the future driver updates resolve this problem?
    - Or there is some hardware damage (mother board or graphic card)
I wonder too if the graphic card for this laptop is buillt in or separaed and could be replaced?
    Thanks

    Hi,

I have the same problem with my S6311. When working on the battery, sometimes the screen became blinking, sometimes totally off.

Some guys said that it may due to problems on the inverter. However, I'm not sure and would like to ask if anyone knows exactly what happened and how to solve it.

    Thanks.
