Can anyone who has lifebook s7010 tell me if it does hibernation? Mine do not have the hibernation option. I tried to look in BIOS and the Power option setup ( no hibernation tab), but there is nothing I can do to fix this. I called Fujitsu yesterday and apparently the answer was if the option was not there, then this model was not compatible with this function. Can anyone else confirm this?
    Thanks.

Hibernation is not set-up in the BIOS.

My S7010D has bios 1.13 (original) and has a hibernate tab. Select Power Options from control panel. There are five tabs (power schemes, alarms, power meter, Advanced, Hibernate).

There may be another more glamorous solution out there, but the simplest and quickest might be to re-install windows.

    Cheers

Probably just not looking in the right place, all XP machines offer hibernation.

My answer is a bit late, but maybe it helps:
If there's an incompatible driver or another driver problem, Windows doesn't allow suspend. So you could check your device manager, use original drivers or newer ones from the Internet.
