    I've had my E-6634 for almost 6 years now without any problems - until now.

    I just tried reinstalling XP, and loaded SP2. After rebooting, it went into Windows fine and then suddenly crashed with a blue screen error about a corrupt file. I rebooted back into Windows, and then it BSOD'ed again with a different corrupt file. No biggie, I'll just shut down and then try reinstalling Windows. However, now it will not boot. Here are the symptoms after powing up:

      * fan spins
      * hard drive spins up
      * battery status is shown on small LCD panel
      * security key lock DOES NOT show on panel
      * will not accept my security code on application panel
      * no power to DVD drive or PCMCIA card

    I can hear it accessing the hard drive, but no matter what I do, I can't get it to prompt me for my security code or get into the BIOS. I tried unplugging the CMOS battery overnight, but no go.

    Any other tips or tricks?!?

    Thx,
    CT
