Hello, I guess it's the right section for this thread![]()
To begin with, I'll tell the whole story. So my dad brought E8110 from work for few days and decided to clean it up, update it and etc. so he used "Advanced System Optimizer", cleaned all stuff and launched driver update in ASO. Sadly it failed on graphics driver installation and resulted in just graphics driver removal and dad gave his PC to me to repair it.
So I downloaded newest suitable drivers from intel site (pc has intel 945gm graphics and windows xp 32bit) and tried to install it, sadly it ended up with BSOD. So then I restarted, removed driver from safe mode and tried one from fujitsu site, happily installation went fine, just after restart, no adapter was listed in display properties and in device manager I had 2 adapters, both had correct card name, different DevIDs (27A2 and 27A6), and one of them had error code 10 (device cannot start).
Then I tried enabling, disabling, removing installing different versions of drivers and nothing helped. And I noticed, that when I enable "Write combining", card gets listed in display properties, can read proper resolutions, but I can't change it above 640x480 with 16 colours. And with disabled "Write combining" it doesn't list the card in display properties and max resolution is 1280x1024 (native 1440x1050).
So is there any way to fix it? Thanks in advance![]()
