How do you enable finger print sensor scrolling on a P7120 running Win7?

Sensor works fine to log in, touchpad options do not mention a "middle" button.

I know i have to the option to enable vertical scrolling on the touchpad, but am trying to save touch pad real estate.

ok so no luck in finding how to change the finger print reader to become a scroll button, but i came across this article thats says a version of the HP symatics Drivers will enable two finger scrolling and 3 finger gestures on older touchpads.

    And it works!

New HP Touchpad Driver that Unlocks Multi-Touch on older Touchpad - www.hardwarezone.com.sg
Has direct link to Driver file on HP's servers.

i can now do two finger horizontal and vertical scrolling, 3 finger press to launch applications and 3 finger flicks to change slides, skip pictures etc.

Works great on the small touchpad of the P7120

Thanks for this. I'll have to try this on my nieces P7230. I started a post on this last year about how i couldn't get the drivers to work in W7.

and here i thought i read all your posts! must have missed that one.

next up i want to do the ssd swap similar to yours as well. Getting a PCMCIA to CF adaptor so hopefully i can leave a 32gb CF in there as additional storage and get a 64gb SSD to replace the 1.8" hdd.
