When I turn on the Fujitsu laptop, the screen remains dark. Despite it is connected to the power source.

I took the battery out, disconnected from the power source, and I pushed the turn on button. After that, I reconnected to power and it worked.

But, what is the real cause for which the display stays dark so many times?

It probably does not have a led screen, so the reason could be (usually) inverter going bad. Second reason is broken lcd cable (the part that powers inverter). After those two, it's either the panel or motherboard.

If it has a led panel, then it doesn't have an inverter. Then first option is the lcd cable, then panel and motherboard.

    Thank you for answering me.

3 weeks ago I went to the service, they said it was a minor (20 euro) problem at the motherboard.

It worked but on Friday the screen was dark again though Windows booted normally and (hardly) I could see the letters on the screen.

But it stayed dark despite my trials of turning it on and off. So, I went again to the service.

I'm curious what will they say now.
