I've ordered this and I was wondering should I keep the battery in the notebook if I use it long periods of time with A/C power? If not, does it matter what level of charge the battery has when it's not in the laptop?

I can't answer your questions but I would like to know your impressions with this notebook. How does it look, how is the build quality, especially the lid? What about the duration of battery.

    Thx.

It shouldn't really matter. Some say that if you take it out you should be able to extend the battery life, but it hasn't been proved clearly until now. Depends on what you mean by long time.If you're talking about hours I really don't think it matters.
The battery will discharge itself over long periods of time if not used. Li Ion batteries will come back to full capacity after a few charge/discharge cycles if not used for long periods of tome ( e.g. 2 months or more).

I want to buy it but noone seems to be able to give me some answers. MAybe you can help me.

Can you tell me if the notebook gets hot after using it a couple of hours? Also, how is it in terms of build quality?
    Is the screen usable outdoors?

    Thanks.
