Has anyone figured out how to get the finger point scanner to work with Firefox? It works with IE but not with Firefox for me for some reason. 3rd party software suggestions or any advice?

    I'll try to expand here.

I can't login on any website using the fingerprint scanner.

In addition, once I do login (manually) I can't logout for some reason. Even on this website. Once I'm logged in, if I click logout it tells me that I logged out, then when I click to return back to forums I am still logged in.

If I close firefox and open it back up, it remembers me. In the firefox options menu I have the remember passwords set to off and it still remembers me.

IE works fine but I want to use Firefox with the scanner. Is there anyway to make them compatible?

BTW my version of FireFox is 1.0.2

The software doesn't support FF, though it should. Further, if you buy the full version of the software, you can do a few more things, like require a scan to boot Windows.

that really sucks. is that some thing with the software or firefox that is the problem?

Can someone tell me what TABBED browsers the scanner software is compatible with? I really don't want to use IE at all. Opera? MYIE2?

In addition, is there a way to disable the scanner? Because with it enabled I can't use Firefox browser at all.

This is disappointing news. I wish I would have known before. Can someone help me with a workaround?

    Thanks

    Vit

well myie2 is ie down under with enhancements added to it. so it should work fine.
I don't have a scanner so no clue if you can disable it. but if you want to disable it permenantly you can do so through windows' device manager!

You'll have to email the makers of OmniPass to inquire about support in the future, but right now it's IE only.

As for your FF issue, it's not related to the scanner at all. FF works fine for me.
