could anyone get it working? I got the driver installed but it's not working.. i read it in the manual that it should work.

Mine works with no problems. I didn't even know it acted as a fingerprint scanner until I hit it by accident and it scrolled the screen. Not too useful if you have the touchpad set to scroll, but nice nonetheless. I find myself using it just for kicks occasionally.

I can't get mine to work.
Fingerprint scanner works, but the scroll doesn't.
I tried downloading the sensor from Fujitsu. Looks like it's the Minimum version. Anyone know where i can get the full version? Thanx.

Hmmm, works in my P7000. Did you try contacting support?

I never knew you can scroll with the scanner !!!!
How does it work? Does the whole thing just rock back and forth, or just sliding your finger over it does the trick?

You slide your finger over it. Going down scrolls down. Go up and it scrolls up. Absolutely no reason to go with the scroll bar over the fingerprint scanner since it does both tasks.

yay! got it working. Sorta have to apply little pressure at first.. like activating it..
Thanx

FWIW for those that don't know, the fingerprint scanner also triples as a middle click mouse button. Comes in very handy.
-
handy how? what do you use it for?

I use the middle button to scroll faster on pages with long content. way faster than a scroller or a wheel on a mouse.
BTW if anyone interested to know how to middle click on a pad with no scroller, it is a simultaneous press of the left and right buttons.

I use the Avant browser. So when I have 6 pages up at the same time in different tabs and middle mouse click closes that tab. I don't have to right click then select delete. In addition when you left click on a link it opens it up in the same page, however a middle click on a link opens it up in a new tab. very handy, I tell you...very handy.
