When you hit the above on a P7010 laptop what does that do? Is it to switch between monitors if you have another monitor hooked up to it? I thought Fn F10 does that but when I do the Fn F5 nothing happens on my laptop. Is there a feature to turn the LCD screen off if I don't want it on? I know my Acer has that feature on it and I use it if I'm listening to music and don't want the display on. Thanks.

Turn your resolution down to 1025x768, then try the F5 key.

There's not a hot key to turn the monitor off that I know of.
