I have the Fujitsu N6010, for almost a year already. And this past few months, I have noticed that it gives me a few bluescreen a day. I think it is network related, but I have reinstalled windows 2 times and it still comes back. Could it be a hardware problem?
The first time I reinstalled windows, it would come very frequent when I start windows. About 2-3 times consecutively, when starting windows. This same problem occurs USUALLY, when I switch from wired to wireless connection. Disable the network adapter is fine, but when I connect to the other one.. I get a bluesceen.
I thought it might be the fact I had too much junk installed, and I should use the restore disk it came with.
So I did, and this is the second time I reinstalled windows. I did it yesterday and I had about 3 blue screens. However, unlike the previous time, it did not show up when switching network adapters, but of the few times, when I have "Bit Comet" running.
The bluescreens that come up varies. Sometimes, it is an HTTP.sys with address something base at datestamp.
Or a HTTP.sys "page_fault_in_nonpaged_area". There are also some KLMC.sys errors. There are a few variations.
The first time reinstalling windows, I used the latest drivers from the fujitsu website, especially the Atheros Client drivers.
This time, I used the ones supplied from the DVD/CD. However, I am using Omega Drivers for the videocard.
EDIT: Could it also be a firewall program I am running? I am using Kaspersky Anti-Hacker.. could that affect the Blue Screen?
Should I give the fujitsu Support a call? or should I reinstall windows again with the factory drivers? or is there a test to see if there are any problems? Benchmarking tests?
Thanks

You shouldn't see blue screens at all and they're generally not software related. I'd start with RAM. Take the modules out and reseat them. If you have two, try running on one, then the other to see if there's a possible problem with those. Are you still under warranty?

I did a memtest86+, 3 times and it passed, no Errors. Should I switch the RAM modules around? I really do not want to open up the notebook, or should I call Fujitsu to find out?
I suspect that it could be the Kaspersky Anti-Hacker Firewall. I uninstalled it and will see how that goes.
I still have the 1 year warranty till... next week .lol -
You need to report this issue before your warranty expires. I would start with the RAM ideas I gave you and go from there, if the software disabling doesn't work.

When you say you used the restore disks, did you format the hard drive? There is a small chance you could have a virus that is still there even after reinstalling windows.
Def report the issue before your warranty expires. If it is logged before then FS MUST honour the warranty if it is hardware replated. -
I recently have similar problem like yours, but I know what causes it. The BSOD started to appear after I updated the atheros driver with a third party driver. Somehow the third party driver confused the computer when switching from wireless to wired connection and vice versa. Reinstalling the atheros driver from the driver CD solved the problem for me.
I would suggest you not to install the latest atheros driver, but install the one that originally came with your notebook (from the CD) and see what happen.
