I was all set to get the new A6210 but then I saw you can't get the better 450 nit Crystal View display if you opt for the ATI HD3470 graphics. Also this laptop has an HDMI output which is great, but the maximum supported external resolution is only 1600x1200, and only 1024x768 if you want to use the laptop screen simultaneously.

    Ugh... :(

I can't see why it would be limited to only 1600x1200 if there's HDMI, which supports atleast up to 1920x1200 and a HD 3470 graphics card, which supports up to 1920x1080 through HDMI. Maby it's a mistake?

it's probably a mistake in regards to HDMI. I was also set to get A6210 and for the same reason I decided not to, then I looked at E8xxx and that one had everything I wanted, but not BluRay option.

Fujitsu is messing with us with their custom options...

It's an error in the specs. I went to Fry's and demanded that we hook up a 22" widescreen which they did. Sure enough it looked like it only supported the lower (1600x) resolution so I walked away. The guy hollered back and said he found the correct setup and we had 1680x1050!

So when I got home I plugged in my DVI widescreen to the HDMI port and the setting was visible without having to go to the 'advanced' settings in the Intel driver.

Still getting used to the laptop in the last few hours....

I agree it was beyond stupid for them to make users choose between the good screen and a dedicated card. Maybe if enough of us complain they will offer it.
