    Hi, everyone.
I gonna buy Lifebook and I found S6210A for less money then S6231, they both have same configuration, but S6210A cost less.
So, could anybody explain to me difference between Lifebook S6231 and Lifebook S6210A?

    Thank you,
By the way you`ve got a great forum.

The other change is that the 31 has better ventilation so the fan is less active.

yeah, the 6231 has the latest Dothan processor whereas the 6210 has the older Banias Intel processor. Go with the 6231, the processor might say the same speed but it's actually a better processor due to more cache (2MB) as opposed to 1MB on the Banias.

is the dothan core really worth the extra 300 you would have to spend for it?

does it make anything load faster? increase battery life?

Sure, things will load a little faster, but if you're just doing office software and internet, you don't really need it.
