    Hey guys

I've the Fujitsu AH532 with a i3-3210M and I wanted to upgrade the CPU, so I bought the i7-3632QM from Ebay. Now I updated the bios from 2.08 to 2.09, you could go to this page http://globalsp.ts.fujitsu.com/dmsp/Publications/public/ds-LIFEBOOK-AH532.pdf and see that the i7-3632QM is compatible on my laptop. However, when I install the new CPU and turn on the laptop , I only get to a black screen...What can I do?

    Thanks

try to see if your PSU can handle the new CPU.. more watts ;)

edit : seems you got the psu needed for all types of CPU's (19V or 20V i'm not sure, try with a 20V one), and also try to remove your battery (CMOS battery) for a minute and then try to boot..

Both should have a TDP of 35W, so it should not consume much more at least. I have an AH532 with the i7-3632QM as standard, I would believe the PSU is the same for all the AH532 models, but try to check the part numbers if you want to be sure. Is there any way for you to check if your new processor is faulty?
