hi ppl,
after all, sorry for my bad english!
I have a Fujitsu Amilo M3438G notebook, and i´m very happy with it, but i have a question, when the notebook is running only with the battery, the performance of the graphic card(geforce go 6800) is very, very bad, the games are unplayable, but if i connect the notebook to the electricity even in the middle of a game, the game runs smoothly, and if i remove the cable the game turns unplayable!!
is this normal?? i have to have the notebook always connected to the electricity to have full velocity in 3d games? is anything that i can do to modify this??
thnx ppl![]()

check your powersettings in windows, if it is set to max battery or something it could be downclocking your processor, just right click the little battery icon next to the clock and check the power settings, another way to check if your processor is being downclocked is to go to my computer and "view system information"
hope this helps -
Your CPU is ramping down, probably to 600 Mhz, to conserve battery power.
If you install Notebook Hardware control, you can set the program to utilze the cpu in the "Dynamic Switching" mode- this will run the cpu at minimum speed when idle or running small applications, but then go to maximum performance when necesssary (games, photoshop, ect).
You can download Notebook Hardware Control (used to be called Centrino Hardware Control) here -
