Hello everyone, this is my post here.

I've got a amilo pi 1536 with a broken lcd, but the laptop is working (almost fine). The reason why I'm writing, is to ask if it's possible to put the lcd of my asus z53s-f3sv (which has a dead graphic card) on my fujitsu in order to have it working properly?

And another question is, what's suposed to be the name of the c:\ drive. I'm asking that because I used the hd of the laptop and a back-up drive and change it name, but never delete the windows and documents and settings folder, in order to used again as a boot disk if needed. But I did change the name and now the bios doesn't recognize the boot.

thanks for reading and answering (if possible).

The panels should be compatible. However, the panel from the Asus will be darker than the one from the Fujitsu.

The BIOS doesn't care for partition labels, so the changed label won't have any effect here. I'm not absolutely sure about what information Windows uses to mount partitions, but afair XP uses UUIDs. So changing the label shouldn't have any effect in Windows either.
