i'm currently lookin at the fujitsu e series at portable one and was kinda surprised at how there's no reviews for these things. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these. coming from fujitsu i'd expect them to be pretty good but some reviews would be nice.

We do have a review here. this is a link: http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=2371

the new E8020 has only been out since a few weeks ago, so not many people have gotten their hands on these things.

Do you need dedicated graphics? It seems that the PCI-E version with dedicated graphics eats up more battery than the model with integrated graphics (although I believe Fujitsu's PDF file stated that too).

It's not that bad (there's alot worse out there), but it's not the best either. If you are still interested in the E, and demand something more than 3 hours.. I heavily suggest using one of the modular bay batteries.

well i do need that 64mb of dedicated battery cuz i'm looking to do some light graphics type stuff. but i would think this would get bettter battery life, the asus z70v gets better battery life and its pretty much the same. thanks for the excellent review btw.

Goren, other than some flex in the palm rest area and the screen (you mentioned you could have had SXGA+ instead of CV screen), how do you like your laptop so far? I am going to choose between S7020D and E8020D fairly soon. Thanks!
