yeh, read that a while ago. Look at the E8020! It has vents all over the place! Only if they did that to the N3510..Even vents on the HDD cover would have been nice..

The Serial HDD is branded Fujitsu [:0]!

Wasn't the only manufacturer of SATA 2.5" drives for now Seagate? or do I, as usual, have a screw loose in my brains? [ :D]

At the moment, only Fujitsu has 2.5" SATA HDDs on teh market. They are available in 40, 60 and 80GB all in 5400RPM. Seagate as recently announced SATA HDDs as well, including 7200RPM ones. They has not set a release date.

    So it was a screw. [ :D]

But I noticed that hitachi also have some 5400RPM SATA drives on their page now. It seems everyone is diving into the SATA technology, maybe they will benifit from the command queing offered by SATA technology.

Certainly more notebok makers will implement SATA now that there are more and more drives on the market. Just like not many notebook makers will implement an expresscard slot until products become available. But Seagate will lead the way with SATA HDD with their flagship 120GB model.

I really hope they improve the battery life on this thing..

Tbreak and Znet Asia put it at a little over 2 and a half hours, the Fujitsu Brochure says 4.5 hours on the integrated card, and 3.5 on the models with the ATI X600
