Fujitsu has finally release a 15.4 business class notebook.

With the same configuration, E8210 is $170 (with Biometric Fingerprint sensor) more expensive than N3530. Of course N3530 is a lot heavier and does not offer the securities of business class notebook. I think its worth the price for the extra securities. :)

Looks awesome! New to the Fujitsu seen, how does the screen resolution compare with the Sony notebooks.

It is the same or better depending on if you get the WSXGA screen.

I HATE Fujitsu. I have been waiting for long to get this laptop, but I could not wait anymore. I've just got Dell D820 for two weeks. Then, this E8210 is released. I wish Fujitsu would release this notebook earlier. Well, maybe I am going to sell my Dell to get this notebook because Fujitsu provides a better quality. I still have my S6110, and it is working so well.

I am making my decision between the Dell 820 and this new Fujitsu. What don't you like about your Dell? How is the screen on your Dell 820.

Does the new E8210 have a glossy screen or matt?

How does the screen compare to the Lifebook N3530 or 6410? I don't see specs on screen brightness and contrast on the E8210, unlike the 3530 and 6410 which list this info.

Yep, your choice. Nice-looking package. I've had two E series Fujitsus and they're both still alive somewhere. Nice to see the weight trimmed down from the 7+ lbs that was the E7110. Hope it's just as durable. But I'll be sticking with my Acer 8204 this round.

    Hi Dan,

I like my D820, which is my first satisfied model. I had Dell D600 before, it did not work well for me, and I sold it. I was looking for a core duo processor, and D820 was the first machine that made me impressed. So, I decided to order the D820. I did not trust myself when I ordered it. However, when I received it, I love it. It runs quiet and cool.

I like Fujitsu because I have been using this brand for about 4 years. Fujitsu does not fail me. I wish Fujitsu will offer AMD processor for the E8210 model because I want to try AMD dual core out.

Finally a Fujitsu with 15"4, however, resolution +SXGA Matte (1680x1050) can to be placed to 1280x800? or the native resolution is 1680x1050, and it is not possible to be reduced?. the icons and texts to 1680 are very small for my eyes, i liked resolution 1280x800 matte.

I talk about in matte, NOT glossy

Looks like the display is not as good as the 3510. The 3510 has an enhanced crystal view display while the 7510 has just crystal view display.

Anybody know what the difference in display quality is/means? I do notice that the specs for both the n3530 and the n6410 give display brightness (no. of nits) and contrast ratios -- while the E8210 specs are totally silent on the matter...
