I'm very close to purchasing the S6120D, but wanted to know more about their International Warranty.

    1) The website doesn't reveal any of the service centers. Does anyone know how to get a listing of these facility centers? The IBM, and Toshiba sites make theirs wonderfully accessible.

I'm going to be travelling in China for 2 years for work, and having a tech depot nearby is a deciding factor.

    2) Can you purchase an additional 2 years, and screen protection AFTER you've bought the laptop? In my case, laptopsinc.com has a good config but with the 1 year warranty. Is it possible to purchase extended warranties off the fujitsu website? It appears that you might be able to when registering the laptop. Has anyone tried this?

    3) Last question - off the warranty subject. Are there any comments regarding the S6000 series being phased out due to the new S7000 release? What usually happens to older models...any dangers or beneifts? I'm new to the laptop arena.

    Thanks all!

    1) The only way is to call them and talk to a rep. They're nice and should be able to help you out.
    2) LaptopsInc offers a 3 year for $100, you can't beat that deal.
    3) The 6000 is pretty different from the 7000. I think they'll both be around for at least 6 months, but that's just my guess.
