I have a LB N6410 with an ATI Radeon x1400 graphic card. I would like to know if I can replace the card with the same model card out of a Dell or other laptop. Are the cards fairly generic or are they model specific?

Since you are asking, I assume you have already opened the laptop and figured out that the VGA card is removable and not just a soldered chip on motherboard.

Thanks: There are photos on the web showing the card. It has a hockey stick shaped square copper heat sink attached to the card. There are some Dell ATI Radeon x1400 on auction sites. I was wondering if the cards adhere to a standard or are built to laptop mfgr. specs. I haven't looked at the card yet.

I tried to look for images but all I could find were stamp sized thumbnails of the motherboard itself.
