Look at the screen and bezel! Great to see Fujitsu utilize the same technology from the S6510 on this ultraportable. Strange hinges, but must be due to the very thin bezel.

Not sure what to think of the general design (a bit boring), but one thing is for sure - they sure have managed to squeeze in a lot in to such a small space. I hope other manufacturers start using the same screen/bezel technology.

274x207x27mm, 1.27kg and supposedly up to 10-11 hours battery life!

It seems the T-series is not being continued, which if true is a bit sad. But I am glad Fujitsu is trying to make progress with their design (screen).

    What do you think?

I'm probably nit-picking here, but I'm dissapointed its still using a PC Card slot instead of Expresscard slot, removed the modular bay like from the P series, no more multicard reader, only SD card reader and no webcam.

Guess I'm making it look bad but cramming a 12.1" screen into a chassis meant for a 10.6" screen is nothing short of impressive.

Valid points, yet all of these don't really bother me. It is similar to my ThinkPad X61 in many ways, yet I still prefer the X61 by far. But the screen/bezel construction still impresses me.

I figured you would appreciate the large screen in the small chassis, rahulnirmal. After all, we share the same preferences when it comes to ultraportables.

How are things going with your ultraportable purchase btw? Let me guess, still indecisive? ;)

This machine looks extremely tempting if they equip it with a decent CPU (a non-ULV option, that is.) Does anyone have enough info on the Penryns to know if the ULV models are released early 2008 or later? Surely the R70 won't be Santa Rosa?

Also, is anyone brave enough to venture a guess as of pricing?
