Question about the USB 2.0 Docking station:

I have only ever seen this picture for the
Fujitsu docking station for N-Series and others.

Anybody have a more detailed picture?
This thing hooks to the computer through a
    single USB connection, right?

I am curious, so I still have to plug in my power
adapter to the computer? Explain how this thing works
because I can't tell from the picture.
