Is there any way to recalibrate the distance you can move the pointer across the screen? In other words, the screen is huge, and I would like to be able to move from one corner to the other while only moving my finger 1/2 or 2/3 the way across the touchpad. Right now, I have to pick my finger up and move it to the other side of the touchpad to keep the mouse pointer moving on it's way to the other side of the screen. Any ideas, I couldn't figure it out.

You can try and make pointer movement faster, or turn acceleration on to make it respond faster when you move your finger faster. This will allow you to cross the screen from one to another with one finger movement.

I don't think there are any other ways to get about it.
