Hello all. I am in the market for a new laptop (first one for me) that will be capable of playing games like Rome Total War and other strategy/RTS type games. Do I need something with a 128 ATI 9700 or a 256 ATI x600? I was looking at the Dell 9300 as well as the Fujitsu n6010 and the HP zd8000 and the compaq x6000. Any thoughts about which one is the most preferable? I have been able to play with all of them but the Dell and I liked the HP and Fujitsu best. I just don't know the relative quality of the various companies. Any help would be appreciated.

As a N6010 owner I'm a bit prejudiced toward the Fujitsu....build quality is outstanding, screen is absolutely stunning, keyboard a pleasure to type on, performance is great, should play everything you want, price is quite reasonable, sound outstanding fo a lappy, just can't tell you how pleased I've been with it.

In the downside.... it is a tad heavy (10 lbs.) but as a DTR I'm not running through airports with it, some people find the fan noise annoying (I don't, really don't see the problem).....that's the only two? negatives I can think of. Dell's build quality can't compare (I also have an I8600), and HP never impressed me with their customer service. Just my 2 cents.
