According to the software Notebook Hardware Control and Mobilmeter, the temp of the Hard Drive is around 43 C and the temp of the CPU is 67 C, when th pc is iddle. The fan is allways running and there are about 55 processes running and the load is 0%. Is this normal? when I download some software the cpu goest to 70 or 71C and according to Support is normal. If you guys have the same model could you please let me know if what Fujitsu support is saying makes any sense? Thanks.

I have a 6220 and went round/round with Fuji as well as local Fuji repair center over CPU fan cycling. I was concerned about my CPU temp cycling between 55C and 60C at idle. Fan would come on around 60C, CPU would cool, fan would stop, CPU heats up, etc etc. Fuji stated this was normal behavior. Repair center replaced fan and CPU heat sink, but no effect on heat cycling. I'm using Notebook Hardware Control Beta 1.9 to monitor temps. Hard drive temps run between 42-46C.

    Waynet,

What I find strange about my pc, is that I power it on in the morning in battery mode only, and temps read 26C HD and 52C CPU. The HD looks ok, but the CPU looks odd. I as well use the Hardware Control software.

Have you ever seen in Task Manager where ever some process occupied CPU almost 100%? If not, it quite strange!
