Hi guys
I have taken n6010 one month ago. I am facing some problems since i have bought this. I wondering there must a forum for laptops where problems discussed and getting the solutions
I have installed windows vista ultimate edition. I dont get a driver of ATI MOBILTY RADEON 9600/9700 for Vista. Even on fujitsu website
I have not a single game installed on my system, but its Fan constantly running.
When open lid after a while, i see disturbance in the bottom area of the lcd screen.
Please help me out.
thanks

I believe earlier threads said that fujitsu would NOT support Vista on older hardware. They won't make drivers and so on. You may have to see about 3rd party video drivers, like omega drivers, because I never could get ATI's drivers to install on my notebook. It would fail with an error saying that I had to get a driver from my vendor.
If your fujitsu notebook didn't come with Vista, you are on your own for drivers.
As for your problem with the LCD, it sounds like what others have mentioned with loose or bad inverters, I think. -
noahsark, thanks for ur advice. Hopefully i will find omega driver so it lessens my worries.
How can i fix the issue of loose or bad inverters. for a moment I keep the lcd screen open while i m working. avoid hibernation , stand by or sleep.
i will be on xp soon.
thanks noahsark

You must send the laptop in to be repaired, or be willing to take it apart yourself. There are others who have posted problems and fixes with their lcds in the fujitsu forum. Look for them, they will be helpful to you.
If you are in the US, I suggest you send it to T3 computer services if you don't want to do the repair yourself. They are very good and fujitsu authorized.
