Hey, I currently have a Fujitsu P2110 and I'm seriously looking to upgrade to the P7010D

I'm worried about the screen and the fact it doesn't have a latch...
Has anybody had problems from this?

I've seen other posts where people mention keeping something between the keyboard and screen when closed else scratching can occur... That sounds like an accident waiting to happen...

Can any body comment on their experience thus far?

    Thanks

The keys will rub on the screen, but that's common with most notebooks. I do recommend spending $15 on a microfiber cloth to use as a buffer no matter which machine you buy. The hinge is very firm, so it won't open up on its own.

haha, i know it's not 'hard' but i know i'm not gonna want to do that & have to keep track of some rag evey time i open it. i'm getting this for one reason, convenience. little hassles are still hassles. they should fix their design really.
