    Fujitsu P770 Hardware upgrades

    I think I have gone as far as possible with my P770.

    8Gb memory - hope to borrow one 8Gb module, see if it can be pushed to 16Gb, but I doubt it. P771 maybe, but not the P770
    Intel 520 series 480Gb SSD drive for boot and data
    Intel 330 series 240Gb SSD drive for data (replaces the optical drive, using an el-cheapo drive bay from the far east)
    USB3/eSATA card
    Windows 7 Ultimate

    Short of tearing it down and trying to unsolder the CPU and replace it with a faster CPU, I am not sure there is anything else that can be done to upgrade this laptop.

    All in all, except for the spongy keyboard, it is a delight to work with, and has been holding up very well for the amount of use it gets.
