I have my P772 set up at my desk with an external monitor, connected via DisplayPort. I use the keyboard on the computer so I have it open while I work even though I'm not using the screen. If I close the lid, the external screen is still in use, but if I then open the screen, it switches to the notebook screen and I have to use Fn-F10 to switch back. This wouldn't be quite so annoying except that the resolution change makes all my windows small and moved the top-left corner.

Does anyone have a solution for this problem? (I tried using the VGA connection and that had the same problem.)

It's definitely the video driver that's part of the problem. If I use the default driver, this problem doesn't happen (but then I don't get Aero, etc.). So I think the solution will problem involve some sort of option for the driver. Any ideas?
