    I want to convert from Vista to XP but when i insert the XP disk my laptop does not detect the HD. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    i plan to format the HD so the driver will also be deleted.

    1. Which version XP? XP SP2 may include SATA support.

    2. You can use nLite to integrate all the S6310 XP drivers into the XP installation disc (and you can add SP2, if not already there).
