How do you like it?
Is the case mag alloy?
how sturdy is the screen - especially the hinges?
Does the screen wiggle back and forth alot (loose hinging)?
I am especially interested in hearing how sturdy they are in terms of lcd hinges and case construction. I am replacing a IBM T30 and the new T42 was disappointing in terms of lower case rigidity.

I have the P7 -
The screen is very sturdy, looser than the P5 a bit, which is good. No screen wiggle.
The Fujitsu quality is on par with IBM, some say their service is even better. I'm not sure about the case material, but it's very sturdy, not plastic.

I have a S7010D. THe screen is sturdy hinges are tight. The keyboard is very mushy in the top middle. The bottom housing very thin.
Every laptop is made of plastic are far as I am concerned. Perhaps the have a fancey name for it like magnesiem but it bends and flexes just like plastic and I am sure it will break just like plastic. But this is the price you pay if you want light weight.
The S7010D is only 3.8lbs without the dvd drive, you'll be hard pressed to find another 14 inch laptop lighter. If you want more sturdy be prepared to carry an extra pound or two.

I have the S6210. Much like the S7010 but smaller by not a whole lot. Its a great laptop and super light and thin. The top is mag alloy so its good for protecting the screen. Hinges are tight, so it doesnt wiggle back and forth.
I like the laptop a lot due to the fact its light and doesn't take up much space. Great on the road and for playing music and games.
P7000 is great too. Wish it had a faster processor in it haha []
