I have lost my fujitsu s6240 recovery disc. So i had to install windows, drivers and applications myself one by one. That's ok. But what i miss the most is the screensaver that came along with recovery disc. Can anyone kind enough to spare it with me; preferably the newest one?

not sure if they are all this same, but this is the one i got with my LifeBook N3530. its a boat on a lake and the time of day changes. when u exit the screen saver it makes the last scene your desktop. if there are others i'd love to see.

edit: hey, i can't run it. it says the screensaver not installed properly. help? -
not sure. all i can say is on my computer its located in the C:\windows\system32 folder
-
it is possilbe that you could get fujitsu to send you another recovery disk. or talk to www.portableone.com i'm sure they could figure something out.
-
may be it's missing some picture files
-
FYI: s7020 has a similar one but its a bicycle in a field of flowers.
-
you can use google to find fujitsu screensavers.
-
Fujitsu_CJ, i tried only found wallpapers
-
Technical support told me the only way to get one is to swap with someone elses notebook. Sorry
-
Ahh, thanks then
-
No problem....
Sorry for the Spam -
Eye candy aside, screensavers for LCD screens are useless, better just set windows to turn off the whole screen instead.
-
i also lost that screen saver on my P7010
can anyone send me ? -
you are going to need some folders that contain jpg files, they are located in C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper folder, copy all the folders in there from another fujitsu.
also you will need the two fjsaver files, one is the scr file and one is an ini file
the contence of the ini files is below, paste it into notepad and save it to C:\WINDOWS\system32 as fjsaver.ini

I lost that screen saver too.
Lanshark can u send me the files too? what's an scr file, and where can i find it?
-
Thanks lanshark for great tips. My roomate has a fujitsu laptop and he lost the installation cd too. the jpg files that we have now are only the ones with red boat in different resolutions. Are there any other scrensavers? or is this the only one? Can we make our own? Has any1 tried making his own and add em to the wallpaper folder as screensavers?
