    hi there guys!

my mum's laptop has been overheating recently when she start to play her games (puzzle games so not demanding at all) . i've been watching the temps for her and it steadily climbs from 68C (idle) to 100C (light load for 15 mins). i have found the problem (i think! :D) and it is that the fan is constantly off. now as the temps climb, the fan does not speed up to counteract this... could this be an issue with the gpu itself (geforce go 6800) or the drivers?

thanks for all of your help! :)

sorry no one has answered your thread a lot(not alot of people have fujitsu laptops), but i have a few theories of your overheating problem:
    1. you mentioned that the fan is "constantly off". Im not a genious of computers, but ive heard people speak of getting their fans to not coming on as much by going into their bios and changing the setting: "Fan Always on"
    2. Maybe you can try undervolting the laptops cpu, that can shave offa few degrees
    3. And if the laptop is at home often, consider buying a laptop cooler
